AirCraft Metal Swivel Elbow 8mm x 1/2' Male (SG MPH08-04)
At a Glance; 8mm push-in tube connection to 1/2" male thread in a compact 90° swivel elbow.
The AirCraft SG MPH08-04 Metal Swivel Elbow is built for pneumatic systems where an 8mm line needs to turn neatly into a larger threaded port—without stressing the tube or compromising the seal. It connects 8mm pneumatic tubing to a 1/2" male threaded outlet and features a swivel body so you can orient the elbow neatly after tightening. That means cleaner routing, less strain on the line and a more dependable, leak-resistant connection. Ideal for compressed-air installations on manifolds, regulators, valves, cylinders and workshop air systems where tight spaces and reliable performance go hand in hand.
A durable elbow connector for 8mm tubing and larger pneumatic ports—keeps routing tidy and alignment easy for professional results.
Features
- Swivel elbow body Rotates for alignment after tightening, improving routing and reducing tube twist.
- 8mm push-in tube connection Quick, secure tube fitment for efficient assembly and easy servicing.
- 1/2" male threaded outlet Suits larger pneumatic ports on manifolds, valves and air control components.
- Metal construction Robust, workshop-ready durability for everyday compressed-air applications.
Benefits
- Neat corner routing; Creates a clean 90° turn in compact spaces without kinks or awkward bends.
- Reduced strain and leaks; Swivel alignment helps keep tubing relaxed and supports longer-lasting seals.
- Faster installs and upgrades; Push-in tube connection speeds up system builds, changes and maintenance.
Extra Information
- Use suitable thread sealant/PTFE tape on the male thread if required by the port type and application.
- For best sealing, cut tubing square and keep the tube end clean before insertion.
- After installation, pressurise slowly and check for leaks with soapy water around both the tube connection and threaded joint.
Pro Tip
- On larger threads, tighten first, then swivel-align—forcing the tube to “aim” the elbow can add stress and shorten tube life.
Safety
- Always depressurise the air system before installing or removing pneumatic fittings.
- Wear eye protection when working with compressed air and pressurised lines.
- Do not exceed your system’s rated pressure and inspect tubing regularly for damage or wear.
- Pressurise slowly after installation and check all connections for leaks using soapy water (never use open flames).
