The Maykestag Code 6147 is a professional solid carbide stub drill designed for short, accurate drilling operations where rigidity and dimensional control are important. Its compact DIN 6539 short-series construction helps minimise tool deflection, while the solid carbide cutting material provides the hardness and stability required for precise machining.

The 8mm drill features a 118° point angle, two cutting edges and Type N geometry. Maykestag specifies a maximum drilling depth of 3xD for this series. The Code 6147 version is distinguished by its ALUNIT® coating and is supplied without internal coolant channels.
