Festool FastFix is a quick-change interface that allows compatible attachments to be fitted directly onto the machine without conventional threaded installation or additional mounting tools. Why use a conventional keyless chuck?

CENTROTEC is exceptionally compact and efficient for compatible CENTROTEC accessories, but many drill bits and specialist tools use conventional round shanks. The KC 13-1/2-K-FFP provides the flexibility to use these accessories while retaining the convenience of the Festool FastFix attachment system.

Why carbide clamping chamfers?

The surfaces that grip a drill bit are subject to considerable pressure and repeated wear. Festool uses carbide on the clamping chamfers to provide a durable gripping interface with high holding force and reduced wear during repeated accessory changes.

Workpiece-friendly protective ring
