AirCraft PU Fitting Straight Stud With O-Ring 6mm x 1/2" BSP Male (SG SPC06-G04)
At a Glance: 6mm push-in tube to 1/2" BSP Male (M) thread with O-ring seal
When your air line setup needs to be neat, fast and trustworthy, this AirCraft straight stud fitting delivers. The SG SPC06-G04 connects a 6mm pneumatic tube to a 1/2" BSP male threaded port, using a push-in collet for quick tube installs and an O-ring to help create a tight seal at the threaded connection. Perfect for compressors, regulators, manifolds and general workshop air systems where a compact, straight-through connection keeps everything running smoothly.
The built-in O-ring seal is designed to reduce leaks at the port connection—making this fitting a great choice when you want reliable sealing without fuss, plus the speed of a push-in tube connection.
Features
- 6mm push-in tube connection Quick insert-and-lock design for clean pneumatic installations.
- 1/2" BSP Male (M) threaded stud Fits standard BSP ports used on many air system components.
- O-ring sealing design Helps improve sealing at the threaded interface for more reliable performance.
- Straight-through configuration Ideal for tidy routing and minimal restriction in compact spaces.
Benefits
- Fast installs and changes: Push the tube in to connect—great for maintenance and upgrades.
- Reduced air leaks: The O-ring seal supports a tighter connection, helping your compressor work smarter, not harder.
- Cleaner, more compact layouts: Straight stud design keeps pipework aligned and uncluttered.
Extra Information
- Use with compatible 6mm OD pneumatic tubing (commonly PU or nylon) for best fit and grip.
- Before inserting the tube, cut it square (no crushing) to help the collet seal properly.
- The BSP thread is intended for BSP ports—confirm your port thread standard before ordering.
- To remove the tube: depressurise the line, press the collet in, then pull the tube out gently.
Pro Tip
- For best sealing, make sure the O-ring is clean and seated properly, then tighten snugly—avoid over-tightening. If your port seals on the O-ring face, skip thread tape so the O-ring can do its job.
Safety
- Wear eye, ear and dust protection when working around compressed air systems and air tools.
- Depressurise the line before fitting, removing or re-routing any pneumatic tubing.
- Check for leaks after installation (soapy water works well) and re-seat the tube if needed.
- Do not over-tighten threaded fittings—tighten securely and avoid damaging threads or seals.
