The MFT/3 KAPEX workstation supports KAPEX models including the KS 120 REB, KS 88 RE and KS 60 E.
Cuts, small holes and surface marks are expected during normal use because the panel functions as a sacrificial spoilboard.
Flip the panel over when the first face becomes too worn for accurate work.
Replace the panel when both faces are excessively damaged, distorted or no longer provide reliable workpiece support.
The table frame, KAPEX saw, clamps and other accessories are not included.
Retain the original mounting hardware unless replacement hardware is separately specified or supplied.

Pro Tips

Mark the two faces as Side A and Side B so that wear can be monitored and managed consistently.
Before making a deep cut, confirm that the cutting path is clear of the table frame, mounting points and hardware beneath the top.
Keep the perforations free from compacted dust and debris so compatible clamps and accessories can be positioned easily.
Distribute clamping pressure evenly and avoid excessive force that could damage the MDF around the holes.
Remove glue squeeze-out promptly or use a suitable protective release sheet during glue-ups to preserve the working surface.
After fitting or flipping the top, check the table surface for flatness and recalibrate associated fences or supports where necessary.
Avoid prolonged exposure to water or high humidity, as MDF can swell and lose accuracy when moisture is absorbed.

How to Use

Disconnect the KAPEX saw from its power supply and remove the saw, clamps and loose accessories from the workstation.
Place the MFT/3 KAPEX table on a firm, level surface and secure it against movement.
Remove the fasteners retaining the existing perforated top, following the table instructions where applicable.
Lift away the worn panel and clean dust, chips and debris from the supporting frame.
Position the replacement top correctly, aligning its perforations and mounting points with the table structure.
Refit the original mounting hardware evenly. Tighten it securely without overtightening or crushing the MDF.
Check that the top is stable, flat and fully supported, with no fasteners projecting above the working surface.
Refit the KAPEX saw and accessories, then verify alignment and recalibrate the workstation before precision cutting.
When the first face becomes excessively worn, remove the panel, flip it over and repeat the installation and alignment checks.
